The third of three Swimming Camps of 2018 took place on Sunday 25th November 2018 in Catterick. The programme of one day camps form part of the Swim England Talent Regional Pathway Programme,
The swimmers took part in a busy day of activities including a strength and conditioning session, two pool sessions (which focused on starts and turns together with developing stroke efficiency) and an interactive introduction to Sports Psychology workshop which focused on goal setting.
In addition, a nutrition workshop was delivered for the parents of swimmers to enable them to support their child with developing good nutrition and eating habits to help them develop as a competitive swimmer.
Thanks to all the swimmers and parents involved plus the coaches, team mangers and sport science specialists who’s support and expertise helped to ensure the success of each of the camps.
