Gold for Newcastle’s Emily Large at World Juniors

Last night, Newcastle swim Team’s Emily Large won gold in the 200m Butterfly at the World Junior Championships in Indianapolis.

Emily swam an excellent race as she led the way from the start and touched in a new personal best time of 2:07.74. Heart of Midlothian’s Keanna McInnes took the bronze with a new personal best time of 2:09.64.

City of Sheffield’s Elliott Clogg lowered his personal best in the 200m Freestyle to a time of 1:49.02 while Newcastle’s Nicholas Pyle swam to 55.38 to lower his personal best in  the 100m Backstroke.
