Volunteering in any role is both challenging and rewarding. To ensure the roles are done efficiently and correctly there are a number of qualifications and training opportunities for the various roles. These include teaching and coaching qualifications, welfare and safeguarding awareness training, time keeper, judge qualifications, team manager, club captain and poolside helper qualifications.

Not all clubs will be able to pay fully for high level courses but they may be happy to contribute towards costs. Talk to your club and see what they can offer. County Sport Partnerships often run courses and can offer funding towards qualifications, more information on these is available by clicking here.

If you are under 25, there are many opportunities for you to volunteer within your club and we have a page on the website deduced especially to you. Head to the Young Volunteers section of this website.
