Northumberland and Durham Swimming Association

Welcome to the landing page of the Northumberland and Durham Swimming Association (NDSA). We are part of Swim England, and together with the Yorkshire Swimming Association we make up Swim England North East.

We are here to support our affiliated clubs across all aquatic disciplines by providing governance and structure to aquatics within Northumberland, County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire.

We run an annual “County” Swimming Championships, enabling swimmers to compete against others of the same age and ability from within the area, facilitating development of their foundation skills and recognising their potential to progress onto Regional and National championships and beyond. We also run an annual team swimming competitions where clubs are able to compete against each other across a range of team events.

The NDSA also provides and supports additional training opportunities over and above those provided by clubs through the club networks and the Swimming Development Programme, through interaction with the Coaches Forum and through dedicated officials and volunteer training.

If you have any suggestions regarding information you would like to find on our pages, or have any questions or feedback please get in touch. Please view the latest news from the County in the carousel below.
