UK Coaching Update

UK Coaching have launched their new website containing a range of new guides, videos and podcasts etc – https://www.ukcoaching.org/

UK Coaching Conference (https://www.ukcoaching.org/about/our-conference) –  the conference is heading to Scotland from 26-27th June with the event theme being ‘Coaching The Next Generation’. The event will bring together people who are coaching on a regular basis together with the coaching system and development workforce and senior decision makers to network, learn, share and develop. Sessions that will be covered over the two day period include the following, plus a visit from Olympian and Chair of UK Sport, Dame Katherine Grainger:

  • Building Successful Coaching Relationships
  • Creating the ‘Right’ Environment
  • Insight to the Next Generation

Funding Opportunities for Coaching – in November 2017 a Funding Guide was produced which outlines funding sources, on a regional basis – https://www.ukcoaching.org/resources/guides/funding-opportunities-for-coaching

UK Coaching’s Research Journal (https://view.joomag.com/applied-coaching-research-journal-volume-1/0484242001518187895?short) – The publication has been designed to identify key topics of interest and bring them to the forefront of the coaching community. All coaching audiences can read about the positive impact their coaching has on individuals and communities, as well as sharing best practice.  UK Coaching are inviting people to submit articles with a variety of relevant coaching topics for future volumes of the journal.
