DESCRIPTION:Informative\, educational\, online development workshops\, covering different topics\, are available to support athletes aged 13 years old who are members of clubs in the Swim England North East Region. \nThe three virtual workshops cover a range of topics including: \n\nNutrition: Learning to Fuel – Nutritional advice to support swimmer development\nLifestyle: Lifestyle & Recovery – Time Management\, recover and how to balance your lifestyle.\nSports Psychology: Self-Awareness and race progress goals.\n\nThe expected workshop schedule is as follows: \n10am Nutrition – Learning to refuel \n11am How to balance your lifestyle \n12am Sports Psychology – Self Awareness & Process Goals \nWhile the workshops focus on Swimming\, many of the key teaching points and learning outcomes can be applied across the aquatic disciplines. The workshops are therefore open to 13 year olds from other aquatic disciplines to attend if they would like to do so. \n  \nThere is a £5 contribution per athlete which gives access to all three workshops. \nDeadline to book on – 10th March 2023

DESCRIPTION:The Team Manager 2 courses are appropriate for all those who are working with a team or club in camps and competitions\, both domestically and internationally. \nThey cover all aquatic disciplines and will be delivered via Zoom. \nThe requirements in order to take part in the course are: \n\nMust hold a Swim England membership\nMust have an in date DBS check on membership record\nMust have an approved safeguarding certificate on membership record\nMust have completed the Team Manager 1 course\nMust identify as a team manager on the Club Personnel Report\nMust be 18 or older.
