DESCRIPTION:We’re pleased to be working with RISE to offer club volunteers\, officers\, coaches and teachers\, free active bystander training to support you to create safer and more inclusive cultures at your clubs. \nThis online training led by the Rise Sport Welfare team will support you to recognise unwelcome behaviour in your club and equip you with the skills in how to do something about this safely. DESCRIPTION:From 1st August 2025 Swim England NE Region will be applying a small £5.50 charge per place to all Team Manager courses to cover a portion of the costs of administration and tutor planning & delivery. \nThe Team Manager 2 courses are appropriate for all those who are working with a team or club in camps and competitions\, both domestically and internationally. \nThey cover all aquatic disciplines. \nThe requirements in order to take part in the course are: \n\nMust hold a Swim England membership\nMust have an in date DBS check on membership record\nMust have an approved safeguarding certificate on membership record\nMust have completed the Team Manager 1 course\nMust identify as a team manager on the Club Personnel Report\nMust be 18 or older.\nCost £5.50 non-refundable (due to admin costs) if your place is rejected.  Please note that bookings will not be confirmed until the above requirements are checked and verified.\nUpon booking\, your PayPal receipt will act as confirmation – zoom details will be sent just prior to the course date.

DESCRIPTION:The date for the online AGM will be Tuesday 10th June at 6pm and members should note the following from our Articles of Association: \n\n Proxy voting\n\n (a) Any member entitled to vote at a General Meeting but who cannot attend a meeting in person may appoint any other person to act as proxy for him or her by sending the Company a notice in writing (a “proxy notice”) which— \n\nstates the name and address of the member appointing the proxy;\nidentifies the person appointed to be that member’s proxy and the general meeting in relation to which that person is appointed;\n\niii. is signed by the member who is appointing the proxy; and \n\nis delivered to the company in accordance with any instructions contained in the notice of the general meeting to which they relate.\n\n(b) The proxy notice may— \n\nspecify that the proxy must vote this way or that on any particular resolution; or\nauthorise the proxy to vote in accordance with his or her own judgement.\n\nIf members wish to appoint a proxy\, they should follow the above guidance.
