The 72nd Inter-Divisional ESSA Championships were held at the Alan Higgs Centre, Coventry on Saturday 11th March and Sunday 12th March 2023.

Team North East had an impressive showing with a total of 34 athletes competing in a variety of events. They had an incredible result of 32x Golds, 18x Silvers and 15x Bronzes respectively. Among the success of medals, there were quite a few school records set at the competition also.
