Development Opportunities
In partnership with the Swim England Talent Team, there are a number of development opportunities available for coaches working within clubs across the Swim England North East Region. These include:
- County Camps.
- Regional Camps
- National Camps.

In addition to the talent camps, within Northumberland and Durham coaches are also able to access the Performance Programme and swimming hubs (Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Tees Valley and County Durham) who currently have regular sessions at the Sunderland Aquatics centre on a Saturday morning. There is an open door policy for coaches to attend any of the Performance Programme sessions as observers / assistants. Should you wish to do this, please email NDSWIMPP@gmail.com.
Coach Forums
Swimming Coach Continued Professional Development (CPD) topics are shared and discussed at each of the North East online Swimming Coach Forums which take place monthly within the region. To register your interest to attend a forum please contact the Swim England North East Team at swimnortheast@swimming.org.
To access a recording of any of the coaching topics which have been discussed please also email swimnortheast@swimming.org with your name, the club where you coach and the topic which you would like access to. All swimming coaches from clubs within the North East are welcome to attend the forums.
