Two weeks ago, we held our final North East Water Polo Talent Centre session of the year, bringing together players, coaches and families for a memorable evening of celebration and fun.

The highlight of the night was the presentation of the North East (NE) Talent Centre Games medals to our girls, recognising their fantastic achievement in winning the competition. We were also delighted to present All-Star medals, selected by the coaches, to players who consistently demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork and tenacity both in and out of the pool, while also showcasing some excellent water polo throughout the season.

The celebrations continued with a range of fun relay races and games, creating a fantastic atmosphere for everyone involved. To round off the evening in true Talent Centre style, the coaches found themselves taking an unexpected dip after being pushed into the pool!

It was a brilliant night and a wonderful way to conclude another successful year of Talent Centre activity. We are incredibly proud of all the players for their hard work, commitment and achievements over the season.

A special thank you to Swim England North East (SENE) for providing the medals, which were very gratefully received and will serve as a lasting reminder of the players’ accomplishments.
