City Of Sheffield U15 Girls Win Bronze at National Championships

Many congratulations to the U15’s City of Sheffield Girls for winning Bronze at the Swim England National Age groups in Sunderland over the weekend.

Brilliant victories were had during the championship group matches against Nova, Watford and Kirkintilloch and the team had a narrow defeat against eventual winners Otter (after being 4-4 with a couple of mins remaining). In the semi-finals, the girls were narrowly defeated by Liverpool which denied the girls a place in the final and an opportunity for them to defend their title from last year.

In the Bronze medal match, the girls put up a strong fight and won a very hard fought for and well-earned Bronze medal against Manchester.

A great performance by the whole team, many of which were competing up an age group. Congratulations Captain Anna Motley, Laura Skelton, Maddie Ralston, Ruby Taylor, Connie Swainson, Lola Carver Brown, Naomi Littler, Hannah Stones, Flo Stevens, Severn Annakin, Ismay Hawley, Emily Halsey and Coach Chris Motley, Assistant coach Gabby Williams and Team Manager Claudine Motley.
