We’re delighted to recognise Ellen Henry from Rotherham Water Polo Club, who represented the North East as part of the Great Britain U18 Girls Training squad at their training camp in Greece. An incredible achievement and a brilliant opportunity to gain invaluable experience at the highest level.
Ellen experienced a week of intense training and competitive practice games. The squad enjoyed watching a high-quality Greek League clash as NC Vouliagmeni took on Ethnikos Piraeus, before meeting the players after the match. During the week the team were able to spend time with World & European Champion and Olympic bronze medallist Kitty Lynn Joustra and GB Water Polo star Lily Turner who shared thier insights and journey in the sport.
