Tokyo 2020 is fast approaching, and Team GB and Toyota have teamed up to bring the Olympic and Paralympic magic to a community near you.
‘I Am Team GB’ aims to inspire men and women, boys and girls across the UK to ‘Get Up and Get Active’ at free and fun events held around the country across the weekend of August 14 and 15.
The Olympic Stadium in London, the Stadium of Light in Sunderland and the University of Hull are just a few of the venues hosting free hero events, with Olympic sport taster sessions, giveaways and the chance to meet Team GB athletes all on offer.
Many local leisure centres will also be getting involved in the fun, throwing open their doors to host ‘have a go’ activities.
There’s the option for clubs to create your own activity too, and take part in a way that totally suits you.
Whichever option you choose, there are plenty of resources and chances to get your hands on I Am Team GB kit, to stay connected and inspired by Team GB.
