Over the weekend the North East girls competed in Blackpool for the U18 inter-regional Championships 2023.
The results went as this:
Scotland 7-16 NE
NE 11-6 SW
NE 13-5 SE
NE 14-12 NW
The final was a closely contested game v NW with NE losing QTR1 0-3, QTR 2 7-7, QTR3 11-8, QTR4 14-12
Laura was the NE MVP and also the overall competition MVP so many congratulations to her and good luck over the next few months in training and hopefully, she will be selected for the GB team going to Turkey for the Europeans in the summer.
