As we look back on 2025, one thing stands out above everything else: this has been a year defined by people.

From volunteers giving up evenings and weekends, to athletes pushing themselves to new levels, to clubs opening their doors to new members – this has been a year of collective effort and shared progress.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in aquatics across our region, I would like to give a special thanks to my fellow Directors for their time and effort in ensuring that the Region continues to be well Governed and managed and to the amazing staff team who have worked so tirelessly to develop our activities and reach throughout the year.

Across the region, we’ve seen growth, resilience, and a continued commitment to making our sport welcoming, inclusive, and ambitious. There have been challenges along the way, but what’s clear is that our community continues to show up, support one another, and move forward together.

This report captures just some of that work – what we’ve achieved, what we’ve learned, and where we’re heading next.
