Swim England North East is delighted to support the 2026 Para Swimming Regional Championships, delivered in partnership with Swim England North West. This annual event plays a vital role in the regional para swimming pathway, providing meaningful competition and development opportunities for para athletes across both regions.
The championships are held jointly by the North East and North West Regions, with the host location alternating each year. In 2026, the event will take place in the North East, welcoming swimmers from across the two regions to compete in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The meet offers competition opportunities for para swimmers across a wide range of abilities, as well as the chance to undertake classification assessments where required. It remains a key date in the regional calendar for athletes, coaches and clubs committed to developing para swimming.
