The induction for the North East Region Swimming Development Camp took place on Saturday 15th October 2022. The 36 selected swimmers joined the online induction to meet other selected swimmers and gain a better understanding of what the programme will entail.
Swimmers were introduced to the swimming talent pathway, the athlete journey through the pathway and the focus on Optimum Athlete Development Framework (OADF) which looks to develop the Person, Athlete and Performer. They also received messages of congratulations on their programme selection from elite Swimmers and Para-Swimmers plus the Swim England Talent Team.
The selected swimmers will participate in the first face to face camp next month.
