If you believe a child to be in immediate danger, you must call the police, then notify your club Welfare Officer for further advice. If no immediate danger is apparent, you need to notify your club Welfare Officer in the first instance.
The Swim England Safeguarding Team are available at any time to provide advice and guidance should you need them, or to raise a concern. The following emails below are there to help clubs to be directed to where they see necessary:
safeguarding@swimming.org – please send any safeguarding and welfare concerns relating to the safety of a child.
equality@swimming.org – any queries relating to the inclusion of a child in any club, competition questions and any diversity questions including transgender.
coaching@swimming.org – any specific coach related questions should go here.
