The North East Regional (NER) Para‑Swimming Championships 2026 will take place on 4 October 2026 at the Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre (25m pool), bringing together para‑swimmers from across the region and beyond for an afternoon of competitive racing.
Who Can Enter
The event is open to swimmers aged 10 and above (as of 31 December 2026) who are registered with Swim England, Swim Wales or Scottish Swimming and hold a classification ranging from S1–15 and S64.
Guest entries are also welcomed from:
- Swimmers awaiting physical classification (classification 99).
- Athletes with pending VIRTUS or SportExcel UK classification applications.
- A classification team may be present on the day to support athletes needing assessment.

- Warm‑up: 2:15pm
- Competition start: 3:00pm
- Entry deadline: 25 September 2026
- Entry fee: £9 per event
Swimmers from outside the North East are allowed to compete, though priority may be given to North East and North West entrants if capacity is exceeded.
