New E-Learning Launch: Club Chair Essentials – From Complaints to Resolutions

Swim England have just launched their new e-learning course, Club Chair Essentials: From Complaints to Resolutions, which replaces the previous Chair’s Good Governance Workshop.

This new training has been developed in response to feedback from clubs, who said they wanted more flexible learning opportunities that reduce the administrative burden on volunteers while still providing the knowledge and support needed to fulfil their roles effectively.

The result is a focused 30-minute e-learning course designed specifically for Club Chairs and other club volunteers. The course provides practical guidance and increased confidence in managing club complaints and Code of Conduct matters, helping volunteers navigate these situations in a clear, consistent, and appropriate way.

By moving to an online format, volunteers can complete the training at a time and place that suits them, removing the need to attend a scheduled workshop while maintaining access to essential governance guidance.

The course also includes a range of downloadable resources, providing clubs with valuable reference materials and ongoing support that can be used long after the training has been completed.

Whether you’re a new Club Chair or an experienced volunteer looking to refresh your knowledge, this new e-learning course offers a convenient and accessible way to develop the skills needed to support good governance within your club.
