Swim England North East is highlighting a series of free workshops, delivered by Rise North East, to help clubs strengthen their welfare and safeguarding practices this season.
Workshops include:
- Club Welfare Officer Support – 8th September, Northumberland FA, St Peter’s Sports Hub
- Sport Welfare Forum: Suicide Prevention – 10th September, online
- Active Bystander Training – 17th September, Oakleaf Sports Complex
- Child Exploitation Awareness – 30th September, online
- Deaf Awareness and Inclusion – 9th October, Beamish Golf Club
In addition, clubs can access one-to-one welfare support from the Rise Sport Welfare team across the region and join the Rise Sport Welfare Support Facebook group for further resources and training.
