Swim England has launched a new national campaign, Fuel Up and Feel Great, aimed at supporting young people, parents and carers, coaches, and club volunteers to better understand energy, nutrition, and wellbeing within aquatic sport.
The campaign provides practical guidance and reassurance to help individuals feel confident recognising and speaking up when something does not look right, creating healthier and more supportive environments across swimming, diving, artistic swimming, and water polo.
Supporting Positive Conversations Around Energy and Wellbeing
Fuel Up and Feel Great focuses on helping the aquatic community:
- Understand the importance of energy, nutrition, and overall wellbeing
- Feel confident having open and supportive conversations
- Recognise when behaviours or situations may be a concern and know how to respond appropriately
By encouraging awareness and education, the campaign reinforces Swim England’s commitment to creating safe, positive, and enjoyable experiences for everyone involved in the sport.
Campaign Resources and Toolkit
A dedicated marketing toolkit has been created to help clubs, regions, and partners share the campaign messaging. The toolkit includes:
- Posters
- Campaign videos
- Social media graphics
- Example text to support local promotion
All supporting resources and downloadable materials can be accessed here:
