Morpeth Amateur Swimming Club is seeking a motivated and passionate Lead Coach to join their coaching team. This paid part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Head Coach and play a key part in the development of their age group competitive swimmers.
They are inviting applications from individuals who hold, or are working towards, a Swim England Level 2 Swim Coach qualification, with a track record of coaching swimmers to at least County level.
About the Role:
- 12-month self-employed contract (£1250/month), with potential for a permanent role
- Start Date: 26th August 2025
- Responsible for leading the middle section of the club, supporting age group swimmers’ technical and long-term development
- Collaborate with the Head Coach, S&C coach, and a strong team of volunteers
- Involvement in competition planning, swimmer progression, Junior League, and wider club development.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be qualified to Level 2 Swim Coach (or actively working towards it)
- Have experience working with age group competitive swimmers
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be a team player and role model, aligned with the values of Morpeth ASC and Swim England
