The range of different workshops, aimed at supporting the development of Athletes from across all aquatics disciplines, continue to be well received.
The four different 1 hour online classroom workshops, which have been delivered this autumn and attracted hundreds of bookings. The topics covered have included:
- Nutrition
- Positive Mental Health
- An introduction to Sports Psychology
- Lifestyle
The combined workshop ratings, from those who have attended so far, are as follows:

Key learnings that participants have taken away and put into practice include:
- Recognising what stresses me and being able to find a solution to help
- Carbohydrates are good before training
- What foods to eat and when
- Sleeping in a clean room
- Drinking more daily to prevent muscle cramps and injuries
- To better plan my own snacks so that I can learn about my nutrition and become more independent
- I could also be more organised with my swim bag
- Setting goals and visualising my race before racing
- Making sure my teachers are aware of my sport life and my coaches are aware of my school life
- How to set targets to improve different areas to my sport and overcome anxiety about races
- How to make sure there is a balance with school and swimming
