The North East Region would like to congratulate the four athletes from the North East who have been selected for the 2019 -2020 Swim England Para-Swimming Talent Programme. The athletes selected are listed below:
Rebecca Allen
Club: Gateshead and Whickhan
Coach: Ross Bradley
Classification: S10, SB9, SM10
I got my classification last season and managed to qualify for nationals and win 4 medals, my aim is to qualify for BPSIM this season.
Evie Lambert
Club: Brighouse Swimmign Club
Coach: Brian Smart
Classification: S9, SB9, SM9
I have been swimming at Brighouse for the last 3 years old and have been inspired by Claire Cashmore. I have also meet Alex Brooker and Holly Arnold. My Goal is to go to a Paralympic games.
Achievements:Â Qualifying for BPSIM and making the final in the 50 fly

I have been working hard for the last few seasons and have started to make good progress.
