Last weekend, a number of athletes and coaches from the North East travelled to Swansea to compete at the British Para-Swimming Winter National Championship.

There were some outstanding swims from the region’s athletes at the championships with many obtaining personal best times and podium positions. There were some notable swims from Derwetsides @Lyndonlonghorne who in his classification broke the British 50fly record by nearly 3 seconds along with the British 50 freestyle record.
