Thirsk White Horse Swim Team (TWHST) is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Head Coach to join their growing club. You will play a key role in the continued development of their programme, working alongside the Head Coach and Committee to shape the future success of the team.
They cater to swimmers aged 6 to 18+, including County and Regional medallists and a British Championship finalist, along with a thriving open water squad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Head Coach to oversee squad training and development.
- Contribute to the club’s vision and attend meetings as needed.
- Support and mentor the coaching team to maintain high standards across the club.
- Assist with competition calendars, attend galas, and lead team selections for events like the SADSA League.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate (ASA Level 2) or equivalent.
- Proven track record of coaching swimmers to at least a Regional competitive level.
- Committed to equity, diversity, safeguarding, and holding a valid DBS check.
