Borough of Barnsley SC came up with a Club Team Building event where all their members and families could come together and have some fun away from the pool.
Thanks to the generosity of a parent who runs a farm, a BOBFEST extravaganza was created which helped raise some valuable club funds while having loads of fun.
The activities included team games ranging from Bring Sally Up – Bring Sally Down, Welly Toss, Giant Tyre Flip, Balloon Run & Water Carry with the winners being decided by a tug of war knockout.
It stayed dry and the sun shone all day so they even managed to have our BBQ!
The event raised over £1’000 for the club. The organiser said “It was a brilliant day for swimmers, families, coaches and volunteers alike & we’re already planning BOBFEST 2026!!”
