Lyndon Longhorne Reaches Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Final

Lyndon Longhorne shattered his own British record on his way to reaching his first Paralympic final in the day of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

The 25-year-old from Derwentside SC knocked more than four seconds off his S4 100m Freestyle time of 1:38.69 he set at the British Para-Swimming international Meet 2021 in April as he finished fourth in his heat in 1:34.27.

Lyndon went on to beat this time again in the final where he came 7th in a time of 1:33.30.
