At the start of the year, the North East region published a survey with the aim of gaining an understanding of how the North East competition workforce was feeling about returning to competitions after the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. It also aimed to gain an understanding of what support the region and its respective counties could provide to the workforce to enable them to return successfully to their roles and understand any barriers that might be in place presenting them from returning.

The responses from the survey have now been analysed and a summary of these can be found in the following report: North East Region 2021 Competition Volunteers and Officials Survey Summary April 2021. Responses from the survey have also been passed onto the various regional discipline and officials leads who will be able to analyse the information in further detail and work on the required actions.
