On Saturday 11th May, the Swim England North East region had the pleasure of welcoming the West Midlands team for an exhilarating day of water polo. The highlight of the day was the match against our 09/10 girls, which also served as trials for the inter-regionals squad. The 20 Girls who participated gave it their all, making the selection process incredibly challenging. A huge thank you goes out to the West Midlands team for making the trip and contributing to such a competitive and spirited session.

Meanwhile, the 07/08 girls enjoyed a more relaxed yet engaging session, providing a much-needed break from the stresses of GCSEs. The atmosphere was light-hearted, but the girls still showcased some impressive skills in preparation for their upcoming match against the East Midlands.

The 11/12s focused on advanced techniques, particularly pressing and dropping, and their hard work was evident. Great job to all involved!

Overall, it was a fantastic session filled with smiles and stellar efforts in the water. We hope everyone enjoys the sunshine and the bank holiday weekend. The next session will be in June.
