Eating disorders affect millions of people across the UK and can have a significant impact on physical health, mental wellbeing, and participation in sport. As coaches, volunteers, and club officials, understanding the signs and knowing how to respond can play a vital role in creating safe, supportive, and inclusive sporting environments.
To help raise awareness and build confidence in this important area, Beat, the UK’s eating disorder charity, is delivering a free online workshop designed specifically for sport volunteers.
