The 2025 updates to the Hybrid, Pair Acrobatics, and Team Acrobatics Catalogues have now been released. These revisions incorporate clarifications from 2024–25, feedback from athletes, coaches and officials, and improvements to ensure the rulebooks reflect actual judging practice. Key enhancements include clearer wording, updated definitions, refined rotation allowances, improved formatting, and the addition of new approved acrobatic movements.
Highlights include:
- Improved clarity and consistency across all catalogues
- Refined definitions for thrusts, twists, flexibility positions and joins
- Updated height and rotation requirements to avoid Base Marks
- Revised twist allowance rules for Pair Acrobatics
- Better alignment between individual and team acrobatics
- New movement definitions and updated tables/charts for easier reference
- Group P repetition rules refined due to observed overuse
- “JUMP” in Group C confirmed as fully airborne
