The Swim England North East Region Youth Forum Chair Person, Jack Naylor Dunn, has recently been appointed to both the Youth Panel’s of Swim England and CIMSPA. CIMSPA is the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical.
The role will expect Jack to:
- Act as a champion for young adults supporting their Board of Trustees and act as advocates of CIMSPA and the youth perspective.
- Engage with opportunities to advocate the youth perspective through networking, involvement in relevant projects and forums and attendance at appropriate events on behalf of CIMSPA.
- Be open to obtaining and sharing the feedback and perspectives of other young adults, not limited to but with a focus on the sport and physical activity sector.
- Challenge the mindsets and perspectives of CIMSPA’s Executive Team and the Board of Trustees.
- Be able to work with others and respect their ideas and background.
- Act as a champion of the youth perspective, considering the implications of CIMSPA’s services and operations for the young adults.
Jack is an active volunteer within the region in various different roles.
