Swim England North East is pleased to support a fantastic opportunity for coaches, volunteers, and welfare officers to enhance their safeguarding knowledge with free CPD training on Gaming and Gambling Harms. This training, delivered by Ygam, is fully funded and available through the Sport Welfare Officers network on Monday 10th February 2025.
About Ygam
Ygam is an award-winning national charity dedicated to preventing children and young people from experiencing gaming and gambling harms. Their mission is to ‘Safeguard our Digital Generation’ by offering educational awareness training to those who work with young people.
This initiative aligns with Safer Internet Day, the UK’s largest online safety celebration, taking place on Tuesday 11th February 2025. This year’s theme, ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online’, highlights the importance of digital safety and responsible gaming.
