Are you ready to make a splash and explore exciting new water sports? Join us once again for another Festival of Aquatics, a thrilling event designed to introduce you to the dynamic world of Artistic Swimming, Diving, and Water Polo.

Back by popular demand, and this time hosted by Northumberland and Durham, this is your chance once again to dive into three exhilarating sports, with sessions both in the pool and on land, all packed into one unforgettable morning!

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, 19th July 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (registration starts at 8:30 AM)
Venue: Sunderland Aquatics Centre, Sunderland, SR5 1SU
Cost: £10 per person (includes lunch)

Who Can Participate?

This event is open to all children up to and including the age of 16 who have reached Stage 6 of Swim England Learn to Swim. A swim test will be conducted on the day to confirm competence, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

What to Expect:

Artistic Swimming: Discover the grace and coordination required for this beautiful sport with support from Gateshead Artistic Swimming Club.
Diving: Experience the thrill of diving from various heights under expert supervision with support from City of Sunderland Dive Team.
Water Polo: Learn the basics of this fast-paced team sport that combines swimming and ball skills with support from Sedgefield Water Polo Club and City of Sunderland Swimming Club.
