The following is a summary of the responses that were received to the Swim England North East Region online survey to help identify the needs of members and clubs to establish the Region’s Development Priorities for 2022-27.
- In total 44 responses were received from 22 different clubs. Each of the aquatic disciplines were represented.
- When asked the importance of each of the areas listed below, to help support the needs and development of each aquatic discipline in the North East Region, the overall responses were as follows:

This information, together with all the individual comments and feedback that were provided, have been considered by the board and discussed. The next steps are for the region’s development plan and priorities to be updated to reflect this information. The updated plan is expected to be considered by the board at their meeting in November. The finalised plan will be shared in due course.
