This week marked 20 years of service to the Swim England North East Region and Swim England for Linda Tjaguns, the North East Administrator.
Linda started working for the region in 2001 and has seen many changes during her 20 years in the role. She was interviewed for her role by Lara Lill where the two made up the North East regional team based at the Arts Centre in Darlington. From there, the team and the region grew with more staff joining which meant the team moved to the office in Horsemarket in Darlington where Linda was based until last year when she moved to home working due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
During Linda’s 20 years, there have been a lot changes within the region with staff coming and going and various Swim England initiatives and programme being launched.
Speaking of her time in the role Linda said ‘Everyone has been so friendly and easy going during my time working for the region. It’s a nice atmosphere to work in and the region and its members are very appreciative of the work that I have done’.
The North East region and all of the regional team would like to say a big thank you to Linda for her continued support and hard work over such a long period of time and many congratulations on reaching such a milestone.
