Kingston upon Hull Swimming coach Graham Martin was nominated for BBC Humberside and Lincolnshire Get Inspired Sporting Unsung Hero 2019 for the work he has done with Kingston upon hull swimming club and Para-swimming. Graham has been asked to promote the region’s new unsung heroes and to get people to nominate them.
All volunteers should be valued and recognised within all sporting clubs. They are the back bone of the clubs. Especially this year’s communities and sports clubs as they have struggled and adapted to the challenges that 2020 has brought. Most of that work is done by volunteers.
Over lock down Graham with all the regions winners, were asked to do something for this year’s children in need. Unaware what it was… he said yes. It turned out to be a song and a music video with Rick Astley, top sporting stars and some top producers Charlie Lightning, Cliff Masterson and Steve Anderson.
