The North East Region would like to welcome Chris Leighton to the Regional Development Team. Chris will be covering Sarah Small’s role while she is on maternity leave.
Chris has been involved in swimming and lifesaving his whole life with family involvement in both. He is extremely passionate about providing opportunities for swimmers locally to achieve their own goals and achieve their own level of success, whatever that may look like.
His hope is to continue Sarah Small’s work, with the rest of the regional team, to support and develop clubs in the region to allow this to happen.
